Rebecca “Becky” Harris is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of nursing experience in patient care. Becky is a dedicated patient advocate who is proactive in counseling and helping patients. “I believe that healthcare is something everyone should have access to, and I work on a daily basis to spread my skills to my patients and the community,” said Becky.
A native of Ocean Springs, Becky left the Mississippi Gulf Coast to attend school and work in the Denver, Colorado area. She interned and worked in area clinics and specialized in women’s health, pediatrics, internal medicine and ICU.
In 2014, Rebecca “Becky” Harris, jumped at the chance to return to South Mississippi and the Wiggins area. Becky has several close relatives in Stone County. Her aunt, Judy Bechtel, has been a teacher in the Stone County School District for over 30 years. Her mom, Delores Cervi, is a volunteer firefighter for the Silver Run Fire Department and donates her time regularly to the area Red Cross. Her uncle, Herby Bechtel, is also a volunteer firefighter serving the Big Level community.
Becky and her sons, Christian and Gavin, live in Wiggins. She and her family can be seen on Sundays at the Mission of Annunciation Lutheran Church. Her boys are proud baseball players in the local Stone County little league and attend Perkinston Elementary School. On any given weekend, they enjoy going to the DeSoto National Park to hike, camp, fish and play with their four dogs.
